The Patriot Wrestling Program is designed to accommodate a wide range of interest, age and experience levels. This year we will be competing in two leagues. Our novice team competes in the Warren-Hunterdon-Morris Novice Wrestling league, which provides an opportunity for beginning wrestlers to test their skills in a low-key setting. Scrimmages are organized with other towns by informally pairing wrestlers according to their weights, ages and experience levels. The league is expanding it boundaries this year to include similar matches for wrestlers who have moved somewhat beyond the novice level but may not yet be ready for the Varsity matches. The league's goal is to provide additional weekly wrestling opportunities for what will become our Junior Varsity Wrestling Team.

Our Varsity Team will compete in the North Jersey Wrestling League, where team and individual scores are kept at weekly dual meets. Weight classes progress from 50 pounds up through the super heavy weight.

The Patriot Wrestling Program is the farm system for the Mendham High School's program. As we build out program yearly, it is our goal to provide skilled and experienced wrestlers to one the Morris County's best high school wrestling programs. In 2003, Mendham High School had their second New Jersey State Wrestling Champion, an alumnus of the Patriots Wrestling Program.
